- Mostly dry weather with above normal temperatures this work week.
- Very low probability of isolated thunderstorms in western Arkansas Thursday.

.SHORT TERM... (Through tonight ) Issued at 1215 PM CDT Sun Sep 28 2025
There should be a few extra high clouds tonight, but otherwise little change is expected between tonight and last night. Some patchy fog is again possible in low areas and near lakes toward morning.
&&
.LONG TERM... (Tomorrow through Sunday) Issued at 1215 PM CDT Sun Sep 28 2025
The upper low over the southwestern U.S. is being kicked out toward the middle of the country, as is some upper-level energy near the Baja. These two systems will become part of a complex evolution with the ridge near the Mississippi Valley and an upper low over the southeast U.S. The result is expected to be a weak upper low over in the vicinity of Memphis toward the end of the week. Provided that some form of this evolution happens, a couple of isolated thunderstorms would be possible in parts of western Arkansas on Thursday. Right now the chance is below mentioning in the public forecast, but will be mentioned in more sensitive decision support information.
Otherwise dry weather is expected this work week with warm days and pleasant nights.

Scattered to broken high clouds are forecast tonight over the CWA, with scattered mid and high clouds forecast Monday afternoon.
