Early morning GOES WV imagery shows a shortwave pivoting over the UP
and another stronger wave just to the E over ND and NW MN. This will
continue to support the sct shra and over the E half of the UP this
morning. With only a few hundred j/kg (50% chance) while IWD may be spared (20-40% chance).
Additionally, sporadic showers may be present this evening as recent
satellite and radar trends show some diurnally driven showers
beginning to build in NW and central WI.

SE winds gradually settle below 20 kts from W to E this morning and
will remain below 20 kts through the work week and likely through
most of the weekend. Otherwise scattered rain showers and isolated
storms continue this morning. Isolated showers and storms are
possible this evening through Monday. These precip chances could
result in patchy fog development, but confidence is low on where
development would occur.
