/Overnight through Wednesday Night/
Clear skies and light winds will continue overnight tonight and
through the day Wednesday as mid level ridging slowly builds back
into the Southern Plains. As such, we`ll see a relatively cool
morning tomorrow with temperatures in the low/mid 60s warming
into the upper 80s and lower 90s by afternoon. Clear skies will
continue into Wednesday night with lows in the low/mid 60s.

/Thursday through Tuesday/
Mid level ridging will remain in place through the end of the week
keeping temperatures above normal with highs in the lower 90s each
day through the weekend. This ridge will get pinched on the
eastern periphery by a slow moving upper trough that gets cut off
from the main flow to the north over the weekend. While this won`t
have an immediate impact to our weather across North Texas, it
will eventually allow a deeper east-southeast flow to become
established by the latter half of the weekend into early next
week. This happens as troughing becomes more pronounced over the
western CONUS placing North Texas within a zone of weak forcing
for ascent. Enough moisture should work its way northward by
Monday afternoon for a few showers to develop mainly across our
far southern counties. This trend will continue into Tuesday as
well, but ridging looks like it will expand again by the middle of
next week continuing a pattern of warm and dry conditions.

between 030-110 this afternoon. Wind speeds will generally remain
